PAUL CAMNER
Chief Trade Officer

After serving 6 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics technician, deployed in Sicily, in 1986 Paul moved from San Diego to Louisville, Kentucky and was recruited as the purchasing Manager for a Furniture Manufacturing Company. Shortly after being employed, he began managing the purchasing Department for Arnold Manufacturing, introducing him to the world of business negotiations and media buying.

Paul’s introduction to the barter industry was as a client of a barter exchange in Connecticut. Joining a trade exchange was the eye opener for Paul that this was what he was meant to do, as he quickly learned the benefits of leveraging excess capacity into extra purchasing power. He was recruited by the Trade Exchange in Milford CT named Barter Network Inc. (BNI) and began working as a Trade Broker right away.

By 2000 BNI was acquired by a larger trade group, TRADAQ (later known as Intagio) with over 300 employees and 30 regional trade exchanges. From 2000 to 2002. This is where Paul became an executive and began to put his mark on the industry.

Paul was the top revenue producer nationally, and closed millions of dollars in trade transactions. Before leaving he had been promoted to VP of the National Corporate Trade Desk and continued to be a top producer while managing and organizing teams in other offices across the country.

Between 2002 and 2006 Paul worked for and partnered with a new startup company, Troystar Media Services. He was directly responsible for generating $3 million in Media Based Corporate Trade Deals with such companies as Tony Robbins Corp, Kreiss Furniture Corporation, Judith Ripka Jewelry, The New York Yankees and more as well as negotiating deals and maintaining relationships with Media Partners both Nationally and Regionally.

In 2007 Paul was recruited by BizXchange in Seattle, WA as their National Trade Director. BizXchange was co-founded by Creative Trade CEO Raj Kapoor. Paul’s role was to manage 40 employees in both the Seattle and San Francisco offices, growing revenues over 27% for 3 consecutive years with annual trade transactions of $25 million.

In 2011 Paul returned to the East coast and prior to establishing Creative Trade Inc, Paul was consulting and transacting deals for various media companies, barter exchanges and corporations Internationally. Paul brings a vast network of SMEs and corporations that will make up only a small portion of the Creative Trade portfolio.
